Cost Of Seating

Most clients request a price on a per seat basis.

Accordingly, all equipment constructed within that particular grandstand is reflected in the per seat price. Elements which influence the price, but are not sellable as a seating position are usually related to access.

Items such as stairs, ramps, double width crossovers, vometories and aisles are integrated in the design and their cost is amortized in the per seat price.

It is therefore cost efficient to construct grandstands without elevation at the front, minimum numbers of aisles in accordance with regulations, but without rear access stairs. The need to expand egress or vary the standard basic configuration will be driven by the nature of the venue, sport and operational demands.

The most inexpensive seat to construct is at the front row and the highest cost at the rear. Hence the fastest to erect grandstand is the one with the least understructure.

Access For Wheelchairs

Accessible access and positions for disabled and wheelchair patrons are able to be incorporated in the plan. There are Australian standards relating to the angle of ramp, width of platform, carers position which are obliged to be met.

The modularity of the purpose built systems enables the full range of access stairs, ramps, platforms and vometories to be incorporated.

Hire Period

The hire period is generally determined by the time for which the equipment is dedicated to the project and therefore unavailable for other use.
