The ASS retractable system is definitely NOT similar in any way to the lower quality of its competitors.
Regrettably, poor quality systems are out there in the market place and have been negative to the image of retractable seating.
This is not the case with the Australian Searing Sysrems Retractable system and our service department is the most under utilized division.

Retractable and Permanent Seating Systems
Subtle engineering design has been meticulously incorporated in the understructure for strength and to eliminate friction of moving parts.
Importantly, the Australian Seating System Retractable lasts for years, in fact some of our installations are over 15 years old and as good as the day they were built.
What we supply and install retains its shape.
The hardest test for a retractable system is when it is closed. Cantilevered decks with seats installed increase the potential for the vertical leg to lean or at worst bend, and the horizontal platform to therefore gravitate lower, thereby increasing the likelihood of jamming.
Naturally, the higher the system, the greater the potential to bend.
